Does anyone have any ideas of good presents for grandparents? DS is going to be 9 months at xmas and I'd like to get them something "from him" IYSWIM? Only problem is I am seriously low on cash. I'm pretty good at craft stuff, so if you know of anything I could make, that would be good too.

Get some finger paints and help him decorate some salt dough Christmas decorations? Will be messy but it's all part if the charm! Or photo calendars with pics of him.

I got some ceramic pens and plain white mugs from Yellow Moon, depending on how her pincer grip is, might work?

DH made me a canvas from both DDs for their first Christmases. Think the canvas was from the pound shop, and he got two different coloured paints and had footprints and handprints. I loved them.

Ate you Pinterest? They have some great ideas for canvas with prints. Not sure if this link will work...

I've found this site to be good for cheap gifts:

We've done painted ceramics as already suggested & also painted tea towels with fabric paint (got cheap plain towels from amazon). This year we're doing tree decorations I think.

When she was really little & not able to help! I did things like photo key rings from truprint. These are easy to order & pretty cheap.

We've done painted hand prints and put them in a frame which went down really well but I also found personalised-gifts.com which have some fun personalised gift ideas
