New thread here (hope link works!)

Hi Harder, there is a new thread in the Christmas topic for today, sorry I can't do a link as on iPad. Hope you find us smile

HarderToKidnap Thu 22-Nov-12 08:35:38

Oooh, brother wants Mad Men seasons 4 & 5 so might get the boxset depending on what it goes for...

HarderToKidnap Thu 22-Nov-12 08:33:42

Was thinking about the Le Creuset but not at that discount. Next on the list is the steam mop and then the C&E hand cream for a SS present. That's it for today.

Might have finally found something....the Alan Partridge DVD for FIL, although DP isn't sure at the moment.

Also, maybe the Bin Weevils and Hunger Games box set.

All depending on price....I need some serious bargains <sends wishes to Amazon fairies>

"think there might be free delivery codes mentioned up-thread too" blush sorry, thought this was the Christmas bargain thread, there are no codes on this thread!

You'd definitely get the dr Seuss somewhere else. I actually have the same collection (different cover etc but same books inside) which I got about 9 years ago when I worked at WHSmiths, as I was staff, I was able to buy them as penny stock, so I bought about 4 for a penny each! I have given the spare three away as gifts over the years, otherwise I would have sent you one!

I got the Batman lego bundle for DS. I'm sure you can get the Dr Seuss elsewhere at equal or better prices. Plus I would go for the paperback not the hardback ones.

spookysal Wed 21-Nov-12 21:25:00

Oh that was a rubbish attempt at a link! Ignore that. Go onto bookpeople and search for 'Dr. Seuss: A Classic Treasury'. It's £10.39.

AWimbaWay Wed 21-Nov-12 21:24:28

Dr Seuss here Loupee, think there might be free delivery codes mentioned up-thread too.

spookysal Wed 21-Nov-12 21:23:01

Loupee - £10.50 on people. There's normally a free delivery code floating about.

Loupee Wed 21-Nov-12 21:15:55

I'm so happy with myself, got the Tassiimo machine for DH birthday, was planning on spending £90 on it anyway, so happy with £63. And the only other thing I bought was the helicopter for DH as a wee joke gift.
Only thing I was a bit gutted to miss out on were the Dr Seuss books, if anyone sees them elsewhere at a decent price, let me know!

Tortoise Wed 21-Nov-12 21:12:54

My 18 yr old brother just set up an account with my card to buy a 2nd memory card grin. It worked!

Tortoise Wed 21-Nov-12 20:59:55

I wasn't sure about getting it anyway, just frustrating when the timer ticks down and no claim button appears until it's too late.

That's it for me tonight, spent to much! see you tomorrow smile

Sparklytinsel Wed 21-Nov-12 20:56:29

The tablet didn't have the google app store on it.
To get apps for it you would have to get them from Titans Get Jar marketplace.

Tortoise Wed 21-Nov-12 20:49:44

I got one memory card. Want another one really.
The tablet went before my button appeared which is really frustrating!

Tortoise Wed 21-Nov-12 20:44:20

The watch i got was £16.50 down from about £50! Very pleased with that.

That's a pain, mistress sad

That watch went down quite a lot shock

Arithmeticulous Wed 21-Nov-12 20:19:11

Ok, before I cancel it: is the Dounia bag nice or did I get over excited?

Piemistress Wed 21-Nov-12 19:49:18

My fly boots arrived today but I'm not in love with them, eep!!!!

Seem quite saggy around the ankle, need to try on with tights and skirts but will be loathe to pay for returning them!
