Well he will be 9 in January so he's getting an iPod touch. Then for his birthday 16 blimmin days later, a kindle.
Dd initially wanted a 3ds, now after her brother has said he wants a tablet, she does too. I'm quite happy with this as tablets are generally cheaper than a 3ds plus games.
I'd love to get her a nexus 7,but it will probably be an amazon knockoff. She does have an ipod touch but it has many cracks
still works mind.

my girls 10 + 11 are getting an electronics kit and a manga drawing set (top items on the ubiquitous Christmas list..)
DD is 10y (Y6) and we are getting her an iPad Mini and some Skull Candy headphones.
For those thinking of Kindles - DD bought herself the £69 Kindle this year and she loves it - she now reads every single night without fail and often will lie in bed on a weekend morning reading. Was a bug big hit!
Seriously considering an iPod touch.

Dd is having a laptop, she thinks she is having a 3ds xl but she already has a 3ds and a ds xl so don't see the point tbh. She's really into IT and helps me and her teacher out so I think she will love it.

My DD who is in Year 6 and 10 is having a Kindle Fire and vouchers and a case from grandparents. One of the things she loved last year was a storage box filled with stationary. She's used it all year.

Ds is 9 and he is getting either an iPod touch or kindle fire and a furby.
All 3 DDs (8, 9 & 10) have requested and are getting a Google Nexus 7 tablet. Quite a bit more than we would usually spend but hopefully they will last a while. Initially they wanted iPod touches but for less money they could get a bigger screen which they can also use as kindles
Ds is 10 on 6th Dec and he is getting various dr who stuff for that, so no real main present.
His xmas present is an xbox, which he is not expecting at all, so I cant wait to see his face.

DS2 is 10y8m (sounds quite similar to your DD from reading another thread) and will be getting the Cheese Touch Board game. He loves Diary of a Wimpy Kid and the game involves practising skills that in him could do with a boost. Also the Basher Science books and a Wii game (Lego Harry Potter).
dd2 is 11. She's getting a phone (now she is at secondary school) and I think maybe a smallish Cath Kidston hand bag or similar.
