Has anyone bought this? Its £130 but with 15% off ATM. My girls are 7, 5 & 6mths. They love playing shops & have 4 little friends on the street I imagine them having lots of fun with using this. I'd spied it yesterday when the catalogue arrived & my 5yr old saw it today & said 'mummy I want this!!'.

My two got it last year when they were 3 and 1 and they love it. It also looks good so it's no hardship having it on 'display' all the time iykwim.

I set it up like last year's catalogue and one of the pieces arrived slightly damaged. GLTC customer service was fab and sent me a new one without me even having to return the original.

I can really recommend it!

Although it does look good, we received a faulty one with shelves that didn't fit. After a Sunday morning spent sanding the thing down to make it fit, I received an email from GLTC to say that the product had been recalled as the shelves didn't fit. I responded to GLTC and they offered to replace it - no good if you're a working mother when they only deliver at unspecified times Monday to Friday, and I couldn't afford to take another day off work. They didn't even offer to deliver the replacement on a Saturday or early morning or evening to accommodate me. The alternative offered was a £15 credit (not a refund) which I didn't think was great compensation for a shoddy product and a wasted Sunday morning putting the thing together. When looking at the compensation, they also took account of the fact I had used a discount code when I ordered and because of that wouldn't offer me any more than a £15 credit. Unlike theroseofwait, I didn't have a great experience with customer service. Perhaps it's gone downhill in the last year.

I'm so glad I've seen this thread. I've been pondering about this purchase for ages but there's no reviews on the site which always, makes me nervous.

My little one will be 4. Is she too old for it or will she grow out of it too fast? I'm not sure about the size of it. And, does the shop front side get in the way of it being easy to use as a puppet theatre?

Any advise welcome. One has to be certain of play value when you've got a small enough room area and a fairly large toy.

Kind Regards.

Does anyone know where I can get one of these ASAP, as GLTC aren't getting stock in until end of May which is too late for me? It is not exclusive to GLTC so presumably someone else sells them, but who? Thanks.
