It was reading about how they slaughtered turkeys for Christmas that turned me veggie.

Not sure what your dilemma is all about - do you normally eat meat? Free range chicken?

Surely free range turkey no different?

YABU to mention Christmas prior to Halloween though.

Do you eat other meat?

Do you know where your turkey has come from?

I am firmly carnivore, and for me, Christmas isn't Christmas without a turkey. However, I do work near a free range turkey farm and I see the turkeys being fattened up and I dread the day every year where I have to watch a truckload of dead turkeys driving past. This farm has a reputation for being the best of the best local free range organic turkey. I no longer believe that free range means free range.

If you fancy painting cardboard, go for it.
