Sounds like me at that age. I'd have loved you for a book voucher, horse books, perhaps a nice item of 'trendy' horsey clothing etc.

My DN is nearly 10, but for the last year she's been really into Jacqueline Wilson books - there's Jacqueline Wilson notebooks, diaries, annual etc which she really likes.

My daughter will be 9 in December - she's having mostly Build-A-Bear and Hello Kitty stuff.

My dd is nine, loves horses, adores dogs, is a bookworm, loves to be out and about getting muddy...
She would love any type of non-fiction book about horses. She would love a six month subscription to pony magazine, she would love any books from the Pippa Funnell Tilly's Pony Tails series or the Pony Club Secrets series of books (not sure who they are by)
She loves stationery and any pretty notebook / pen / pencil set would go down a treat.
She would love a poster of horses / dogs in a pretty frame for in her room.
She is still young enough to love a Joules or Mini Boden t-shirt with a pony / dog / animal design.
She would love a tote bag with horses on.
She would love a hat and scarf set with an animal theme.
She would love some new riding gloves and a new riding crop (both inexpensive and sadly frequently left at the stables, not sure if your god-dd rides?)

Ooooh, there is so much she would love Smile

Beware, many of the MM books are quite sad. I have found dd sobbing in the middle of the night before now at the plight of the animals in some of the books.
They may suit many nine year olds, but not those of a more sensitive nature...
