My dd has an ipod, small tv in bedroom and phone now stuck for ideas for a main presents this year. She is into clothes and makeup but I didn't want to get her just that it seems a it boring to open but if that is what she wants and will use them should I just go for that?. I'm not so keen on the makeup, although I have seen her wearing mascara! Thanks in advance

I don't have a teen DD (mine is 10yo) but she's very into clothes (not make-up yet)

What about treating her to one of those make-over seesions (I know the Body Shop does them). Then she can have a voucher to buy some that she knows looks good on her.

Or a trip with you to have her hair done or nails done over Christmas.

Jewellery? I bought my DD a really pretty simulated diamond and tanzanite ring (QVC Diamonique) on the Last Clicks section. IIRC it was £8 as she's a size I and they had only a few.

My DD's ideal day out would be
hair
clothes
tea somewhere nice (with cake)
and a trip to the ballet

My dd is 13 at Xmas, she wants a mini fridge for her bedroom, it seems to be the big thing at the moment.

For her birthday I'm getting her a music magazine subscription, other things are iTunes and amazon cards, good headphones, a chair for her room - any ideas in there?

Watching with interest!

I'm sure mine will be telling me what she wants - probably will try for a laptop or new phoneGrin

Dd is getting a laptop but she has put her birthday money and some pocket money towards it. Will get her clothes, big bang theory box set, books and make up/Dermalogica' stuff that she uses. Make up just nail polish and clear mascara though.

My DD is 14 soon. Love the idea of a mini fridge

The Hunger Games trilogy if she hasn't already read them.

My DD (15) would love exactly the same sort of stuff that I have listed on the thread for boys.....

Black and Decker workmate, tools and wood.

Trips to Chill Factore or Velodrome

Climbing kit

BMX

Fishing stuff, wetsuit, surfboard.

Arrows (likes archery)

Serin your DD sounds really cool.

I definitely wont be considering a mini fridge - could be a health hazard in DD's room!

I'm very fortunate dd1 is very clean tidy and organised (unlike dd2!)
