Father Christmas kindly gives the stocking presents which he delivers unwrapped. Everything else is a gift from the person named on the gift tag.

Same here: FC delivers the stocking presents and all the other presents are labelled with who they're from.

He does stockings, we buy main presents. Everything else is from other people (with tags)

From previous years this topic has got quite heated.

Santa does stocking plus a pile of presents on the sofa per child.

Friends and relatives presents are from the named individuals and totally unrelated to santa stash. These are stored under the tree if received before christmas day.

And a main present from mum and dad.

Santa brings everything! Not sure my kids would be good all year or even get majorly excited for a stocking Grin

I know many say well don't the kids think its strange you haven't got them anything but they genuinely don't notice -as a child my parents did the same and I never noticed!

I supposed if they asked I'd make something up but they never have and they're almost 7 and 5.

All other presents from sender.

He brings everything.

In order to achieve this he takes over Toys R Us from October which means dc cannot go.

Meanwhile Daddy must go to work to pay FC.

Possible warping of child?

Santa brings all the toys that we buy and presents from other people come from that person. We have to give the money to Santa though which is why you dont always get everything that is on your list

Santa brings the stocking only here, it's very much wanted because Santa puts in things that Mummy won't buy because she thinks they are a waste of money or unsuitable.

Santa brings the stocking and a bunch of other presents. We (mum and dad) buy one biggish present labelled from us. All.other gifts received from others go under the tree labelled from them, before Christmas day.

Just stocking in this house. Ours are still under three, but I think when I was little, I used to write a letter to Father Christmas and thought that he would magically let my parents know what I wanted. I think I saw it in the same way as making a wish when blowing out birthday candles, it's all magic, doesn't really matter how it happens Smile

We don't do stockings. FC brings a sack full of goodies which he leaves just by the fireplace next to the whisky and cookies.... it's always a collection of things for the boys to share (with a note about how great they are at sharing). Last year was Lego, year before that was musical instruments and before that, Brio trains ... they then get one present each under the tree from us and other little bits and pieces from family and friends (of which we have alot, hence why only one from us!!).

Stocking and one main present from FC (for dh and me too - after all we've been very good as well!)

Everything else from us

Father Christmas (can't stand the name Santa!) brings a stocking and all the other presents are from us, friends and family. This year I'm only buying for the children (including nephew and nieces) and DP - rest of the presents will be homemade (hopefully!)

It's always been Santa here rather than Father Christmas (lots of regional variations - I am in Scotland)
