To make?

Get the ready made bruschetta or croustades (sp?) from Sainsburys (or i'm sure any other Supermarket) and cover with a ready made tapenade or pate.

Smoked salmon on ready made blinis with creme fraiche and dill is always a winner!

I'll try and think of a few more and be back Xmas Smile

Rokka cheese crispies (think you can only get them in Waitrose but they are yum) with little bit of Wenslydale and blob of mango chutney (you could maybe use ritz crackers but not so yummy).

Slices of pear and a little bit of dolcelatte wrapped in parma ham

squares of rye bread (pumpernickel type) with blob of cream cheese & teeny blob of lumpfish roe (fake caviar)

celery sticks stuffed with cream cheese and sprinkle of cayenne pepper

If you do 2 or three plates of nice things you can bulk up with easy stuff like suasages on sticks, mini mince pies and crisps/ nuts.

or maybe you could go for 70's austerity retro - I remember childhoodd Xmas drinks when all we had was crsips/ cheesy biscuits and a display plate - cheesy biscuits around the edge and in the centre about 5 of each - olive on stick & cocktail onions on stick.

A small cherry tomato and a mozzarella pearl wrapped in a basil leaf on a stick is super-easy and looks pretty.

Box of ready cooked cocktail sausages, mix with honey and wholegrain mustard and pop in oven for 15 mins till all glazed. Scrummy and everyone will be scoffing them.
