Just wondering if anyone has got any easyish christmas cooking ideas for my DD5 ? We are at home all week with no transport to go out to places. We live in a rural area so will do some nice walks. She is loving cooking and we will definitely do some mince pies, but any other ideas will be much appreciated x

I made these with ds last week - and will be doing more for presents.

I replace the vanilla with mixed spice though as I can't stand vanilla, even the smell. I got icing pens and then a selection of things like silver balls and edible glitter and similar for ds to decorate them with.

They looked surprisingly good considering they were done by a 7 yo

I really want to do stained glass biscuits but I'm having trouble finding boiled sweets, wtf!

Anyone have a recommendation for a really stupidly simple biscuit recipe?

Try the pound shop for boiled sweets Smile

A gingerbread house is fun to make, jam tarts and mince pies also.

We are making gingerbread shapes to go on the tree, yet more chocolate truffles, though some are for presents, will try the nuns boobies (see previous post), though will call them chocolate christmas puds. Not brave enough to do a gingerbread house with a 6, 4 and 2 yr old yet, maybe next year!
