Everythings Rosie sweet dreams doll

I am just posting on the off chance that any has got this doll for thier children, (not for xmas just in general). My 2 year old son has expressed an interest in it and as i am wanting to buy him a "bedtime toy". He has a gloworm but it is a little young for him now and i bought him the bedtime iggle piggle last xmas. My son is scared of the dark and has a lovely winnie the pooh bedside light which i leave on for him at the moment, but ideally i want to wean him off that, so therefore would like a toy that has a light in it. Is the everthings rosie sweet dreams doll any good? I am torn between this one and the leapfrog twinkle twinkle little scout, he has the larger leapfrog violet toy and i think the twinkle twinkle little scout may be too young for him. Suggestions welcome.
