Anyone know where I can buy 6 reasonably priced Tube train carriages?

Ideally DS would like 12 Tube trains (one for each line inc DLR) but I fear that would bankrupt me!

Anyone seen 6 Tube trains in the shops that I could pass off as carriages? He would be beside himself if I could track them down..... I could get them from the London Transport museum shop (2 lots of three carriages), but with P&P that is going to set me back more than 20 quid.

TIA

What sort of train set is it and how old is he? ELC do/used to do Tube trains that are on ebay here and are quite cheap although it would be about £12-15 by the time you'd bought all six. Or there is this option from Google.

Things that look more suitable for older children are more expensive: the 2012 Olympics version is around £10 for two carriages.

Thanks RoseC. He has lots of track from Ikea so I think both the ones on Google and the ELC ones are compatible. I prefer the ELC ones on ebay but there are only two carriages per set and that would mean bidding on three different auctions - can't face it.

Think I will go for the three-carriage Amazon ones which are the same as the ones at the LT museum but much cheaper.

Thanks very much as would never have found them !
