Lovely little girl lives above us, and adores our DS, we always get her something little for xmas, and spend around £8 at the VERY max or under please. But i have no idea this year what to get her, and she goes to her mums before christmas for christmas as such so i'm running out of time Confused Can anyone point me in a direction please??

Moshi monsters are very popular at the moment - you can get little packs of the figures for £5 at tescos.
A play handbag (my dd can't have enough!)

dd is 6 and her and all her mates are obsessed with aqua beads - £15 in argos but home bargains sell them for £6.99. You wont go wrong with these as they love them! Alternatively go to tkmaxx and get an expensive craft set cheaply - i got dd paperfantastic for £7 - £18 in argos!

Our girls are currently fighting over an AniMagic kitten which one of them got for her 6th birthday from her uncle. Its a kitten that mews and you feed it with a bottle, it makes drinking sounds, then goes to sleep and snores. Argos has them in their 2 for £15 range of toys, so the other two might be getting one in their stocking. 6 year old girls also like beads of all types, as above, or Hama beads or beads you thread to make necklaces.

Tesco have a whole aisle with "Girl's Toys" Hmm on one side and the "Boy's Toys" on the other. We visit it every time one of the DCs is invited to a party and it's never let us down yet. They usually add extra stuff tat at this time of year too, and they have some nice bits n bobs, moreso for girls I think, and very reasonably priced. I aim for £5-10 for a schoolmates b/day and we always find something. The craft kits are usually nice.

What about Claire's Accessories shop? Can't go wrong in there for a 6yr old girl! Some very pretty little silver charm bracelets in a smart 'grownup' box, as well as lots of pretty bags.
I should know - DD(8) made me spend on hour there today...
