Which doll for 2.5 yo?

MIL would like to get DD a new dolly for Xmas which is a good idea. She has a little first doll from ELC which she loves but it is tatty. She'd really like one that could take a dummy in it's mouth, she played with one at a recent hospital appointment for hours (egg test we were there all day!) she's totally baby obsessed at the moment. Not sure if she'd like one that moves, she's generally quite cautious of moving/talking toys.
Looked at baby annabel but a) they're expensive & b) a lot of them move (I think) or c) the ones that don't move can't take a dummy/bottle.

Does anyone have any recommendations for something suitable?

Thanks.

I don't know the name, but someone gave my dd a great doll for her 3rd bday. It's a baby doll and it's plastic all over, which means you can bath it which she does every time she has a bath (every other day) and really enjoys it. It's also very, very cute looking, almost real. It's about as big as a Tiny Tears, but a lot cuter, and the plastic is a bonus for the bathing.

DD is getting a Baby Annabell version 5 (doesn't move). You can feed it water to make it cry, but that won't be happening in this house Grin.

It takes a dummy/bottle and makes noise and that's it. The one that moves it's arms is version 6. I think Amazon sell the version 5.

I'm getting DD this one

It takes a bottle and pees on the potty. Comes with a dummy, bottle and potty. Corolle have lots of clothes for it but they are rather expensive, and plenty of accessories (doctor's kit, cradle, feeding set etc etc).

It's made out of vinyl, I think, which makes it more soft than if it was made of hard plastic.

Oh, and it can go in a bath!

Oh, and it doesn't move/talk, but its eyes close when you lay her down.

Oh, and they have nappies for it as well

Baby Stella. Dolls by manhattan toys. Far cuter thn normal 'baby' type dolls. Comes with a dummy too. Both my children have one- they do a boy (baby Sam) too which my son has.

This one is a tenner and is the one dd has. No dummy though. Looks cuter in real life!
