My friend confessed today that she put her tree up at the weekend. I've disowned her (in fact im so upset I feel I should have namechanged even though nobody knows who i am)

House round the corner from me has lights up. I've tried to make excuses for them but no, they're Christmas lights.

Someone round the corner has a tree up. Even DS (3.4) said it was too soon!

People over the road put theirs up on November 6th. They do it every year, tis very strange.

There is another house close to me with decorations up. That's because they never took them down last year. It's a santa and sleigh of the kind with suckers that you stick to the inside of a window. That means they haven't cleaned their kitchen window for at least a year Shock.

The pub next to my work put theirs up at the beginning of October.

When we first saw them, we almost left.

My friend's neighbours always put theirs up early November. They are the only ones I've seen yet though.

Driving into our local town the other day, DS who's 9 shouted 'Look - Christmas lights in that house, bit early isn't it?' We love all the Christmas decorations but they were a bit early even for him!!

Also saw a house today with blue lights in the tree in the paddock - sorry but I just don't get blue lights - since when was blue a Christmas colour???
