Went to the cinema yesterday with DH, DS8 and DD14 to see Arthur Christmas and thought it was fab! It even made me laugh (and I'm a grumpy bugger lol). DS sat through the whole film in silence (which is unheard of).

Highly recommend you go and see it!

would it be okay for dds aged 4 and 6 (both just).

Also does it have a story based on is he or isnt he real??? I have noticed recently that loads of the good ones are based like this and as the moment it hasn't entered their heads that he might not be real so dont want to send any suggestion if you get me?!

Definately suitable I would say, there is humour on many levels! There is only one bit that is along the lines of Santa not being real which is when they are struggling to deliver one specific present and an Elf and 'Arthur' are delivering it they say it doesn't matter who delivers it as long as the child gets it she'd think it came from santa. BUT in my opinion it doesn't give any indication to children that he isn't real (DS is 8 and he still very much believes!).

I hope that makes sense but you should go and see it you won't be disappointed!
