I have bought afew already but they are all a bit guff really.
She is entertained by the Nintendo Vets but never really gets beyond the three cats.
Thought I might get a game for her christmas, but don't want to break the bank.
She loves drawing so thought the art one would be good but can't find it for cheaper than £20 Shock

Anyone else know of good games?

Mario Cart. My 6 yr old is now allowed to borrow my DS for long car journeys and he really enjoys that game..

Try shops that sell games second hand. Most of them are in great condition

Ds loves the Carnival games. Lots of little games all in one.

My DSs are getting DSs for Christmas and they're 5.5 and nearly 4. I have no idea, so went into GAME and bought them 3 games each from the preowned section - all the ones based on their favourite films (Incredibles, Toy Story, Cars, Robots, Bolt etc) They say from 3/7+ and seem fairly straight forward and thought they might like the character association. Are there anything like that she might like? (btw, preowned were about £8-£10 each in there)

If she can read, my two (7 and 5 yo) enjoy the Tinkerbell games. Cooking Mama is also a hit, as is the Dora game they've got (I think it's Snow princess?).

Loving the look of Cooking Mamma!
Have heard that the Tinkebell one is not so great.
Am not sure about platform games, not being a great fan myself, not sure if I could be of help for DD is she needed it.

My 6 year old dd2 got nintendogs for Christmas last year. She loves it. Cooking Mama is also a big success. One of her friends has got a dogs fashion one. My dd is very jealous of that. She also loves playing with her sister on Animal Crossing. To me, that games seems to have the most about it. I'm not sure if she would have played it though due to her age if she wasn't influenced by dd1. Mr Claus will be bringing us the Moshi game. Or, at least it is on her list and is being very much hoped for.

Moshi game is looking like over £25.
Yikes!
Too much for me to spend.
She is not into it that much.
Think I would set my budget somewhere around the £10-£15 mark.

This is good with loads of different games to play. It's £14.99 from Play.com at Prezola www.prezola.com/c/toys-games/videogames-11/ds-games-146/216178

oh dear Sad the review for that link was not good.
But perhaps that is because it was an adult saying it? Do you think a child would enjoy it more, or do you own it and like it?
