Porridge oats and edible glitter mixed into a jar, (Edible glitter for the sake of the birds!) sprinkle xmas eve for the reindeers!
Is that what you mean?

It's just oats mixed with edible glitter or coloured sugar. I've made loads for a school fayre.
It's also part of our Christmas eve tradition. The dc make it to feed the reindeer. The glitter will sparkle in the moonlight and show Santa where to land his sleigh.

We put raisins in too. Put it in a glass jar next to mince pie etc and find it scattered in the garden with the bitten off carrot tops on Christmas morning.

Thanks for the posts. If we are doing this with students, any ideas for packaging? (will edible sprinkles make a difference?)
