DD has the sylvanian families regency hotel on her Christmas list. Very pricey, usually 109.99 in argos but its currently 1/2 price so only £55!!
Yay. Have reserved one before they sell up, she's going to be really pleased :)

Cheers for that! One reserved, and it seems we also get a £10 voucher too!

Thank you

Trouble is, DD1 does not like Sylvanian families, but she will soon won't she? Age 5 and obsessed with Barbie. Anyway, I like it Grin

Good to know, I will put it by for her birthday in June, and there is always DD2, although she is only wee.

The Argos set also has a few extras included, so very good value. Thanks again.

£54.99 free delivery Amazon may be easier than lugging it back from town.

My DD got the Baby Windmill today from Sainsburys.
She's already got Beechwood Hall and the School (I got her the conservatory and some furniture as part of her Christmas)

I think I'll hide all evidence of Regency Hotel half price. Otherwise we won't fit DD in the bedroom Grin

Thank you! I saw this thread yesterday and reserved one which is just as well as they are sold out of every argos in Edinburgh today.

Argos is doing good just now, my cousin managed to reserve and pick up the last new Fireman Sam playset which had been reduced from £29.99 to £22. And i've seen sooooo many toys in there at a good price!! Bit pissed tho, cause i wanted The Mega Bloks Construction Build n play work bench and all are sold out here :(

Has anyone got the link to the Amazon one at £54.99 as I can't see it there?

Dillydollydaydream · 28/10/2011 19:07

It is bargainous :)
It's been on DDs list the last couple of Years for christmas but thought it was quite pricey with so many rooms to fill with furniture!
She'll be over the moon she has it this year.

Other than Argos the cheapest place ive seen it is John Lewis £82 something. I nearly bought it from there as I thought that was a pretty good price before I saw it with Argos 1/2 price!

Important question - how big is the hotel in its box? Will I be able to carry one for a 5 minute walk through town and what about two (reserved 2, 1 for dd2 and one for neice).

The box is big and quite heavy.

I doubt you could manage 2 tbh.

A lovely lovely woman helped me with mine earlier as I couldn't manage it and keep hold of ds2.

I carried mine through town, you couldn't carry 2.

Thanks AshaBoo, but I can't get there. Lovely of you to offer though.

fivecandles - 'borrow' a trolley from a shop in town. Argos may even have one they can lend you.
