Would like to get ny nephew something lovely for Xmas, he's quite a young 13 if that makes sense. Already has phone, & computer & games asked grandparents for Lego. Was thinking of something to do (activity) rather than actual stiuff. He's an only child so no other DC's to share it with. Thanks for any ideas :)

Ds is 12, he'd like: Game gift voucher so he can chose something for himself. I adopted a penguin for him last year, he cried with happiness (sniff). I'd say 13 is too old for Lego, Apple tunes voucher??

boys are never too old for lego. my brother still loves it at 28, my boys love it at nearly 13 and 10.

My precocious 10 year old loves Lego- regular and Technics. He really wants a Dr Who Sonic Screwdriver (£7.50 in John Lewis!)

The actvity sites like Red Letter Days have a wide variety of experiences for 13 year olds (but the budget needs to be pretty big).

I'd stick to big boys toys like remote controlled stuff (helicopters break really quickly so a new one will probably be very welcome if he's into that sort of thing).

Ds1 (13 in Feb) would like skull kandi headphones. Xbox games, a skateboard. He would also like smellies this year as his body is smelly changing

He likes arieal (sp) extreme, rock climbing, laser tag. He would love a go of those hamster balls down a hill thing. All under 30 pounds :)

Ooh Yes Maryz Hollister aftershave. I must remember that for DSs stocking.

To be fair its cheap and it smells nice. Luckily for me DS has decided that chavs wear Hollister hoodies and therefore doesn't want one.

Oh god, does it smell like that awful shop? Practically gives me a migraine when I walk past!

Good plan! DH still uses lynx! But that's a whole other thread...I'm picking my battles!

Boots have some good bargains in store on perfumes and aftershave. I bought DS a 100mls bottle of Burberry London last night for 16 pounds.
