Hetty sit n ride, fropper, wheely bug or scuttlebug??!!

I need help! My DN will be 14 months at Christmas and a friend suggested I get her a ride on toy, having looked I'm very confused as to which I should get.
Which would you recommend? HELP!!

Both ds1 and ds2 loved the wheely bug - it's for use inside the house, we had a scuttlebug as a gift for ds 1 and he only used it once - it is a nifty design, but they didn't seem too impressed with it. DS1 who is 5 still tries to sit on the wheely bug.

DS loves his scuttlebug. He had it at 15mths and is still using it on a daily basis at 3.4. its also the one toy that his friend s want to ride on when they visit. also is very portable and is regularly taken to the park etc,

Scuttlebug is great because it folds up, therefore not taking up too much space when not in use. DD doesn't use hers on a daily basis, but enjoys it when she does.

Ds2 loves his scuttle bug.

I have got him a large wheelybug for Christmas.

The scramble bugs are good too.

my DS got the large wheelybug the christmas he was 2.5 and still uses it now at 4.5 but he did fall off it several times once he got brave on it, whereas he never fell off the more "normal" ride on toys he had so i'm not sure i would recommend it for 14mo (although, it's only really an issue on hard floors where they can build up speed).

DS got a wheely bug at about that age and never took to it at all. I wish I'd gone for this type of plastic ride on for him (there are lots of different ones in this kind of style). He always made a beeline for this type of thing at toddler groups, friends houses etc and he always found it easier to master ones with a back on at that age.

He did have a wooden trike from age 1 which he liked though he was probably about 18 - 24 months before he really got into it.
