If you're thinking of getting your DC a letter from Father Christmas, I really, really recommend these people www.rooftoppost.co.uk/ Beautifully illustrated, lots of different letters to choose from and very well priced IMO.

Their website has loads of free downloads too, including letters you can print off yourself and personalise from the tooth fairy etc, as well as Halloween stuff!

Thanks - will have a look at this.

Can't be worse than the Royal Mail one we had last year - arrived two weeks after Christmas and was a resounding disappointment when it finally did arrive.

i agree, the website does look fab and will probably get a letter from there. Especially from recommendations from other MNetters.

Although could Natty please stop dregging up ancient xmas threads just to paste the same message over and over again ? It's getting rather tiring and is a bit unprofessional. In fact, this seems to be the only reason you joined up? You need to pay to advertise on mumsnet, regardless of how fantastic you (or your sisters) product looks

We've had these letters for the past three years and they are beautiful and really nicely packaged too. Some of the stories can be a bit scary though and I wrote my own and had them print it the year before last as I wasn't sure any of the pre-written ones were suitable for DS.

They're fab at communications though and were really helpful and friendly when I was asking loads of questions about the letters.

I see what you mean Toothless. Natty is taking the piss a little now I think. Actually puts me off getting one this year

Why don't you just print off a nice background (downloaded free from the internet) and then write your own. Do it in a nice handwriting font, and then it can be as personal as you like and its free!

We've done it the last few years.

Would recommend the letters from the nspcc.

Nice letter plus doing your bit for a child less fortunate.

Ever since the DC have been receiving letters from Santa/Father Christmas they have come from www.santa.co.uk They even had a telephone call fron Santa one year!! You can choose from several different letters, put personal stuff in like best friends names, most wished for present, colour of your front door etc & you have a choice of a pre-recorded telephone call or a real live phone call where Santa has a basic script to work from but improvises from what the child says aswell!! My DC loved it!! I highly recommend this site!! It`s great!!
