I'm determined that this Christmas will be the Christmas I finally finish the festive cross stitch that I started when pg with my DS3. He's 3.5!

I've only got 6 months to do it!

Finished, always done by Easter or just after, just got to make the pud in October and the mincemeat. The turkey, stuffing and cranberries have been in the freezer since February and stockings are about done. Also made the cards and paper, stored the advent calendars.

Hate Christmas, really hate it as dh always has to work so i drink am merry and don't fret about anything as its done. Also was really ill one year almost dead ill and since then think well no point waiting, if its prepared no hassle and kids prefer child me to stressed me.

I'm looking wistfully at M&S toilet roll with silver star pattern on it (or buy The Snowman looroll if I can but they haven't sold it for a while. Sainsbo not M&S)

I bought that Andex bold pattern looroll for DDs party, so that has made me think of looroll. I'm not sooooo organised that I know what I'm going to wipe my festive bum onGrin

Well I think you're all right to get organised early, especially with the snow disrupting everything just before Christmas. Look what happened last year with all the Amazon orders. Sorry osd that you were so ill, being prepared for the unexpected lessens some of the stress as you say. My mum died one November, and I wouldn't have had the heart to do lots of Christmas stuff, luckily I had got most things sorted already. It freed me up to do all the probate stuff.

Lord of the flies Wilkinsons had the snowman toilet paper last year, but from about November only. I will definitely be looking for it again this year.

I think I got my snowman loo roll and kitchen roll from morrissons. I've been saving since january. I wasn't well last christmas so I want to make this one a good one. I'm going to the panto on xmas eve (with dd of course!). I can't wait.

Oooh brightermornings that reminds me-the local theatre sent their listings through and their panto is on there.
Last year (October) I took DD to see The Swan Lake and Dec 2009 to see The Nutcracker.
Will need to scour round soon for our Christmas Night out Smile
