What do I do with a dry, cured ham?

DH got one from Tesco and I have no idea whether it needs cooking or what! Help please!

I think you can eat it as it is. What does it say on the packet?
Serrano and Parma hams are dry cured and don't need cooking. IMO it would be criminal to cook them.

I think Bunbaker is probably right.
Sliced ham (deli-type meat) is often "dry cured".

It doesn't have any cooking instructions on it so I think it can probably be eaten but it is vacuum packed so I don't want to open it to check.

Um ... they're really minging. Better pass it over to me. I'll find a home for it.

Slice it and enjoy! You can cut chunky bits off and yes, you can cook with them - risotto, pasta, etc. Or thinly slice and just enjoy them - put strips into pasta once cooked, have as starter, on pizza after it's baked.

I'd just eat it!
