Argh. What does my three year old want for Xmas?

Some mumbling about sending Father Christmas a request via the nursery for an orange truck DVD? WTF? This sounds so plausible it could be an actual real thing?

Or, in general, what is YOUR 3 year old getting for Christmas?

3.8 DS is getting Playmobil pirates stuff, a cowboy dressing up outfit, time teacher watch, and some books and DVDs.

Last year I got him Imaginext which went down really well and in fact he now plays with it alongside Playmobil so something to think about? The yellow submarine is good, emergency vehicles too.

What about Duplo dumper truck/recycling lorry? V attractive to 3 year olds for some reason.

My boy is 4 in Jan. From various people he is getting:
Vtech camera
imaginext space station/rocket/moon buggy
Playmobil pirates & fire engine
Nintendo Ds from us

The imaginext stuff looks fantastic

no idea what it could be. my 3yr old ds is getting fire station playmobil and a ton of fireman sam stuff via family. Also a Woody doll from toy story.

Playmobil, too - also Vtech camera, and 'swing car' which is like a small go kart which moves along by itself when you turn the handlebars. Weird but addictive. He propels it with his feet, in the shop, anyway.

They are made by a company called 'Ukayed'.

DS1 (3.10) is getting a climbing frame for the garden, plus some Lego Duplo, a tea set, Playmobil road sweeper (if it turns up!), and a couple of books and puzzles.

No idea about orange truck DVD, sorry!

Imaginext stuff is fantastic. My DS2 (5) has the space rocket, ambulance, helicopter and submarine already and is gettig the aircraft carrier off the big red guy. They are very sturdy toys, and have lots of hidden extras. CAn't fault them.

They may have a toy at nursery which could have sparked an interest. Is it too late to ask them if they can shed any light?

I have got my 3.11 yr old ds the lego duplo recycling truck its a bit orange I think wrapped it a couple of weeks ago :) could i be this?

My nearly 3 year old is getting a vtech learning computer (Thomas) and lots of little bits like toy cars, bikes, remote controlled cars, drawing bits and pieces.

I have no idea about the orange truck DVD either, and we watch a lot of DVDs here!

awww, thanks all. I have given up all hope with the orange truck (actually I've realised he was very specific about it being a lorry - will grill nursery ladies tomorrow)

Wilf you probably don't want to hear this at this late stage, but the orange truck couldn#t possibly be the Playmobil recycling truck? My Mum sent me a link of it as they are getting DS it, it's orange, it's a truck, I thought of this thread?
