Yippee - my last Amazon delivery has arrived

Postman has just knocked on the front door with three parcels. I now have all of the Christmas Presents that I ordered on-line.
Just feeling really thankful, especially as two of them were for my sister so she wouldn't have got anything from us on the day if they hadn't arrived. The third was for MIL but have already got some other stuff for her.

I also thought we were now snowed in, as on a steep slope and road completely covered in snow.

I hope that everyone else's deliveries arrive safely.

Also that I can drive on Wednesday to my parents (135 miles away) to stay for Christmas. DH getting the train straight from work on Friday, so hope that is also OK.
Otherwise we will be going hungry over Christmas.

That's great! Am still waiting on mine and not expecting to see a postman today even if we didn't have this snow

I got one of mine from amazon about 20 mins ago! Unfortunately it wasn't the kindle which is my dad's present, and which was apparently dispatched over a week ago, and ordered about a week before the things that have arrived.

Still, fingers crossed

I've had stuff arrive that was despatched on the 14th but stuff that was despatched on the 10th still not here. Emailed them yesterday and they have replied to say if not with me by tuesday I can have replacements sent (But obviously they wont be here for xmas) or i can have a refund, cant say fairer than that I reckon. Luckily only waiting for cd's & dvds which i can probably get elsewhere

Still not had mine! Snow here only a covering so no excuses really but we have had no postal delivery for 3 days as according to Royal Mail, the postman is off sick! So am not holding out any hope for them to arrive by xmas now!

I've just had an email from Amazon, guaranteeing that if I order a Kindle today it WILL be here by Christmas!


Considering I'm waiting for something from November I'm a tad

MNSP - Maybe the guarantee only applies to kindles specifically ordered today!?
