I hate finding things for men, i have finished my x-mas shopping appart from the men, what the hell do i buy them.

My dad-has everything already, verry fussy, loves cars and boats.

My mums partner- who is comming to x-mas lunch, has a warped sense of humer and i don't know much more about him (only met him a hand full of times).

DH- wants a laptop but i can't afford it, havn't got a clue what to get him.

Help?

A man's crap box valet tray for all of them. The women in their lives will thank you.

I saw a novelty present on amazon - a willy care kit. WTF?!

Seriously, can you talk to your DH about getting the laptop as a bday/Xmas present if moneys tight? Surely funds are shared so he knows you can't afford it?

Men in my life get books, vouchers, whisky, wine that sort of thing.

Dh has agreed to wait for a laptop (until we can afford it) but i don't know what else to get him Hmm.

I think i will just get my dad some sweets or a novelty item (not sure what). He is the worst to buy for as he doesnt read, drink and if he wants something he just goes out and buys it (or his partner buys it for him).

My dad's a nightmare too. I generally go with clothes, pyjamas, books, that sort of thing. Last year I sent him and stepmum to Vinopolis, the wine museum in London. Theatre tokens also good.

Mum's partner, as you hardly know him you don't need to buy anything too personal. Ask your mum!

DH and I rarely buy presents for each other, we tend to treat ourselves to something we both need or want - in previous years this has been a new bed, a camera, a new house (last year!!). This year it's a new bathroom, which is costing a bomb. I'll get him a few bits from the dcs but that's it.

It's tricky isn't it,?! I've no idea what to get DH - we've set a budget of £50. Last year I got jimjams and slippers. Probably clothes as he hates shopping!
