No.

So I bought the ÂŁ1 Value ones for when MIL comes round. Grin

I just bought some at a craft fair, as not really up to investigating making them myself this year - otherwise I would be tempted.
She's put seed sticks, chocs and candy canes inside them.

You can buy make yr own. I bought some a few years ago from M&S. Such rubbish but filling yourself isnt cheap either. Do there need to be pressies?

We always make our own - everyone invited to Xmas lunch has to make and bring one - children included. Max ÂŁ1 filling. Has to have a hat, joke, pressie and cracker snap and present has to fit in a loo roll. They are all fab and original and everyone we have ever asked to do it (as guests on xmas day) have loved searching out the pressie and making them

Last couple of years I have made my own with wind-up toys (from Hawkins Bazaar) which get raced down the table during after dinner. This year i've bought some ready-made ones from sainburys filled with wind-up reindeer (I wanted the racing sprouts but DD vetoed them Sad)

Ah, ChippyMinton - a like-minded person. I have also done crakers in the past filled with wind-up toys from Hawkins Bazaar. Great fun aren't they? Grin Must investigate the racing sprouts.....

Thanks Chippy! Grin Actually, I think I ds would like a cracker containing a Playmobil character....

Are you changing your name to 'SnowMuchToBits' this year? I keeping reading it as that anyway Smile

Playmobil - or maybe those lego minfigs in a packet?

I got my playmo advent calendar out today!

Chippy, yes I will be SnowMuch, as from Dec 1st. The sprout emoticon will look better when it has its festive hat on!

Our Playmo advent calendar has arrived but is being stored safely until advent. I also bought the Playmobil nativity and 3 wise kings sets for myself ds's birthday on 5th Dec. Actually the figures from that would make good cracker fillings....

We've got racing sprouts too. I also bought some in Lidl which have kazoos in them. That won't be annoying in the slightest will it? Grin

I never realised how much I wanted racing sprouts.....

And kazoos sound great Grin

I am seriously tempted to go and get the bl**dy sprouts. Why did I listen to DD?

I recommended them (on your behalf) on another cracker thread which has popped up. Lots of people seem quite interested in the idea....

I may have a solution. I will jam the leftover sprouts (there will be many) onto the reindeer's heads. Last one to fall over will be the winner.

That wouldn't work in our house - there will be a 3 way competition for the last sprout. Among my sister, my BIL and ds. Ds will probably win - he loves sprouts! Grin

Don't know why I cook them - every time I leave the table someone else will pile their sprouts onto my plate. One year I scoffed the lot and took my revenge in the evening Blush

Pmsl! In our house they disappear really quickly. Must remember to buy enough. My sister (who is a sproutaholic) would like the racing sprouts I think.
