My little one would love some Take Along Thomas for his birthday/xmas, so....

1. Any ideas where is the cheapest to get it?

Saw some in TJ Hughes this morning if they've got a branch near you. The big Toby's mainline set was £24.99 in the shop, not £29.99 as per the website - combine that with the starter set and you'd have three engines and quite a lot of track for about £30.

I was in Toys R Us yesterday and they had a 3 for 2 on all Take Along Thomas trains and track. It was also £10 off if you spent over £50 I think. Not sure what it is like though as we have the Thomas Wooden Railway instead.

Sainsburys have some sets on offer at the moment BUT (looks furtively about and whispers) they are having a half price toy sale on Thursday on all toys
