Dip a cotton bud in the anbesol and use that, not sure if it'll work but may be worth a try.

I think our bottle says one application should bring instant relief.
Can you give ds calpol too? Just incase it isn't just his gums that are sore, especially if he has been crying for so long.
I know dd also gets earache and a mild fever when teething.

Is this for a mouth ulcer? My DD was prescribed an ointment (sorry, can't remember the name) from the Dr which tastes a hell of a lot better than Anbesol. Poor you and your DS.

ah, I see. I found a homeopathic remedy really helped when DD was teething(again, can't remember the name, sorry. That's what happens when you have an 8 year old and an 11 week old) I hope you find a solution soon.

I got it in Boots though.

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
