Ha! I'd imagine I've cured him of his wandering eyewink
I was on a work trip to a swanky resort in a hot country and as it was all inclusive everyone drank far, far, far too much. I ended up in this blokes room (I had left my hat on the beach earlier on in the day and he had picked it up for me and he was leaving first thing so I had to get it iyswim - I am not in the habit of going to drunk married mens hotel rooms)
He is terribly handsome, witty and sucessful and apparently he is even famous in his country so he was quite suprised when I wasn't forthcoming with the nookie, I'd imagine he is used to getting it what he wants. Instead I lectured counselled him on his evident marriage problems until he was in tears and then left.

Fantastic, Carmermere. Did you put on a Claire Rayner firm but kind voice and say: 'Can you do that for me, love?' grin

Well put it this way a younger, sillier Carmenere would have found him very difficult <he is tres sexy> to turn down but I just told him that I loved my dp and wouldn't hurt him for the world. so he did the 'we don't have sex any more' line, which transpired into him actually being terribly depressed and he obviously felt really unwanted and rejected. But shagging me wasn't going to help that situation so I suggested that he tried to work on it or leave her but that betraying her wasn't a solution.

Actually I did feel a tiny bit of remorse for making a 6'3" ex international rugby player cry <pious>. but fuck-it I probably made him think about a few things that he diddn't want to.

No you wouldn't KM, possibly before you discovered mn but not now. Actually being a member of mn must be a kind of anti-adultery weapon. the thought of all the heartbreak on here would seriously ruin your mojo iyswim.

Respect to you Carmenere. I hope he takes your advice on board. If things really are bad with his DW he should focus his energies on sorting his marriage out.

You should be poud of being a real woman who doesn't need to respond to any offer from a man!

lolol no it is true he was a ride. But even if you could get over the guilt in the moment so to speak, imagine how horrible you would feel in the morning.

Now KM really and truly I actually don't believe that you would sacrifice your principles for a bit of a drunken friction with a cheater married man

I'll settle for a hmm ......... wink

Carmenere

I am one of the few MNers privileged to have met the alternative to the drunken idiot.

There is no competition, so your job was made a tad easier. grin

I think we may have introduced the word "ride" into the MN vernacular. grin

Yes Bree, I wasn't that tempted tbh, although it is always nice to be asked.......
Am off to start a thread inaugurating 'ride' into the mn vernacular.

And expat, yes particularly as he he had drunk even more than mewink I'd imagine there was a bit more enthusiasm than opportunity at play.
