I don't cherish the idea of dp going to strip joint but appreciate there may be a time in the future when he goes on a stag do and gets dragged to one of these sleazey holes. If this was the case I wouldn't expect him to wait outside but also wouldn't want him paying for a dance. I know some places give a free dance on entry. Which under pressure from friends may be hard to refuse. I certainly would not want dp going to these places outside stag do circumstances. Would be mightly pissed off with club if they broke no touching rules.

The last stag do he went on I was fully expecting it to involve a strip club and told dp I didn't like it but didn't mind all the same. They didn't end up going to the stripers thank god but trust he would have told me if they did as I have said I understand. I do think it would be worst if he went behind my back.

We had a conversation very early in the relationship about strip clubs. Dp said he went for a mates 18th once and it was one of the clubs with free dance on entry. He claims he didn't enjoy dance and felt a bit of a saddo someone being paid to dance for him. He claims he didn't know where to look!. It was early days and had no reason to lie but I do hope he was telling me the truth as if he does get dragged to one of these places someday I would rather he didn't enjoy it. Although boys being boys
I'm sure he would pretend to his mates he did.

yes i'd be upset. why don't you go out, cop a good feel of some fit blokes arse. then tell him there's no problem because there were no emotions involved. see how he likes it.

My OH went to a strip club last night where they broke the "no touching" rule - a girl rubbed her boobs across his face.

He was on a stag do, so I just kind of went, "Oh yeah, I suppose you went to a strip club too!"

Now, how is this any better than being drunk in a bar, chatting with someone and having a fondle?

"It doesn't mean anything" - "There aren't any emotions involved" - but surely, paying someone to wriggle around in front of you is more premeditated than "oops, bit tipsy, aaah aren't you nice?"

Don't get me wrong, if he chose to spend an evening in a strip club just BECAUSE, or would rather go there than stay at home with me, I'd have a problem with it. I know he only went because the rest of the stag do did (but he did enjoy it and go along with it).

I think I should probably be more bothered than I am, what does everyone else think? Would you be upset? Even if it was a one off stag do?

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
