e spent two hrs onthe beach betwen 2-4 yesterday. Slapped lots of suncream on her, but as she was playing by the water the sun has caught her cheeks.[blussh]

She's not complaining of them hurting, but I am so embarrassed, so I am thinking foundation .

the rest of her is fine, just those little cheeks.

leave it TBH - she won't be the only child with pink cheeks today!

lots of aftersun or something moisturising will help calm it down

I wouldn't. Just after-sun. Anything else could irritate her skin. Don't worry, it will go quickly.

Just leave it I would say. Aftersun obv.

DS had bright red cheeks yesterday as I forgot to put suncream on him at all on Saturday and he was out all day.

I think foundation would make it look worse to be honest.

gawd!!

i think she got the majority of it on saturday rather than yesterday. We went to Torquay, shoe shopping for her, and tbh it wasn't that hot, and i didn't even think of suncream.

yesterday just heated/scorched what was already there.

I'l put the foundation away!!! heehee.

I have a red nose today. Spent the weekend out in the glorious sun and did apply sunscreen but applied it like moisturizer (i.e. not much in the T-zone) so now I look like rudolph. Send her over here we can be embarrassed together.

lol, @ Rudolph.

the sun is very deceptive. When we went to the beach, it was so hazy. I know that the uv's were there, but as I said, when it doesn't 'feel' hot you don't respect it enough.
