Searching for case histories!

Hello Mumsnetters, I'm searching for lots of different sorts of people for various articles at the moment, and am wondering whether anyone can help, or knows anyone else who fits the bill. They're all slightly difficult to find, for different reasons, but here goes...

1. Do you know anyone who's brought up a child or children after both parents were killed in an accident? It's a scenario many parents worry about - what will happen to my children if we both die - and I'm hoping to look at what has happened in some real-life cases.

2. Do you have a 'comfort object'? I have a pashmina that I take all over the place with me, and am very attached to for all sorts of reasons, and I'm looking for other women who have similar 'comfort objects' - things they have an emotional attachment to, for whatever reason.

3. Children who shuttle between two homes. I'd like to talk to kids aged between about six and 16 who shuttle between the homes of their separated or divorced parents. I wouldn't need to name the kids, but I'd like to hear from them how they feel about living part of their life in one home and with one parent/family, and part of their life with another.

Each piece is for a different newspaper or magazine - email me if you want more details of what/when/where - but I need to find the people to talk to first!

Yours very gratefully, Joanna Moorhead

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]
For a sceptical face, , type [hmm]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
