New BBC Ruby Wax show needs your views on Baby Blues

Ruby Wax will be launching a new mental health and wellbeing advice programme exclusively on the web for the BBC next month called Ruby’s Room.

In the programme, Ruby will discuss views, problems and personal experiences sent in by viewers on particular topics concerned with mental health. The programme is currently in the pilot phase and one area we are looking at is:

Having a Baby

Have you just had a baby? Or maybe you had several children some time ago. What are your experiences? Do you have any advice for new mothers in maintaining their mental wellbeing? Do you – or did you - suffer from post-natal depression? Perhaps you know someone who’s just had a baby. Please share your thoughts, problems and experiences here for discussion on Ruby’s show.(of course, feel free to remain anonymous)

Thankfully I have never suffered from Baby Blues or PND, but if I had Ruby Wax would be the last person I would allow to access my information.

Even if you did get a word in edgeways, would it be treated compassionately. ??

I rather suspect not...

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]

For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
