so far i think i need to

buy as many strings of fairy lights as the national grid can cope with.

buy a bulk load of baubles and shiney things and generally fling them about the place.

Oh I see. I usually make flaky pastry a la Delia so it doesn't apply to me.

provincial lady - it's the pastry that's usually got the meat in it. lard makes the best short-crust

I genuinely like her too NotanOtter (lol at this thread) and I like her recipes because she takes intelligent short cuts and she's actually quite practical in her methods (but as practical = boring in TV world, it's dressed up with a lot of eyelash fluttering and squirting of cream and riding around on fake buses with fake passengers)

I have an inkling that dh fantasises about her whisking egg whites in to stiff peaks with one nipple whilst beating pancake batter with the other ......so er, I'm just off to perfect my techniques ....
I genuinely like her

bet she laughs her arse off when she watches it back and CRINGES

i love her, i suspend my disbelief and enjoy her programmes.

jealousy is a v. unattractive trait [clutches miniscule cashmere cardie to bosom and flounces off]

I like Nigella but i haven't made many of her recipes i find alot of them very rich wich isnt my kinda thang, i do have one of her books though.
i jest

i do think she is lovely but would have thought her wiser than to succumb to the over the top 'spoon lapping' that the directors insist on

There's nothing wrong with hips on a woman as far as DH is concerned (which is just as well) - something to hang on to!
i said - 'fgs her tits ' 'dp said 'yes but loo at her hips you don't get something for nothing' wink

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
