I had my last actual confirmed period about 3 weeks ago, I think around the third of 3 april . Had sex just afterwards (thinking it was safe) One week ago (last Thursday) I started bleeding quite heavily. I also had something like a painless contractions, felt faint and tired for a few days. I am still bleeding a little (turned to brownish discharge) I feel a pressure sensation in my pelvic area, I havent passed any clots. I did a pregnancy test last week, but it was negative.
Any thoughts?

It could be but if you did a pg test and it was negative it's unlikely as the pg hormones hang around for ages even after you have m/c.

It might be to early to show up on the test though.

What are you thinking? Do you think you were pregnant? I think it would have been too soon to be a 'heavy bleed' even if it was/is a MC.

Can understand that the not knowing will bug you, but I think sometimes it is better not to know IYKWIM?

Are you TTC'ing?

I had an early miscarriage a few years ago, and the symptoms were similar in that, Ihad a period then two weeks later had another and then again in two weeks. At that time i did a pregnancy test which was negative, but a couple weeks later it was poistive but very faintly. I am just thinking that feels like the same is happening again. I am not TTC and dont want to be pregnant but am still interested in whats happening to my body, it doesnt feel right. AM going to GP this afternoon.

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
