Hi honey

sorry for your loses, it's so hard and unfair.

I know that feeling of wanting to try again, I think we become a bit desperate with despair. i guess if the results do indicate something early treatment is important with some causes of m/c such as factor V and thrombopilia , sticky blood type things. treatment is usually just aspirin or heparin. results shouldn't take long. After my third m/c i just went private and I only remember the tests taking a couple of days.

I also think it is important to wait at least for one period emotionally and physically before trying again,

good luck hun.

Well, I didn't wait after mc3 - just didn't see the blardy point. And got pg straight after, so that when I saw the consultant, I had to do the slightly embarassed, actually I think I'm pg already thing.
Anyway, that pg is nearly two, and the consultant said that since the vast majority of people rec mc for unknown reasons, you haven't really lost anything by not waiting.

I'm really sorry to hear about your losses.

I've just suffered my 3rd missed miscarriage this week and 4th erpc (they had to do it twice once!). I'm booked in for the blood tests etc but don't know whether to wait for the results before ttc. Three months seems a long time when we've been trying for over 18 months to have a successful pregnancy! Any advice appreciated!

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
