hello all:

I'm on CD17 first cycle after miscarriage and I've just started having some spotting today. Any thoughts on what it might be? I'm hoping it's ovulation spotting, as it would be right around the time I ovulated pre-pregnancy but I'm not sure... hmm

Hey

Im not sure, did your hormone levels return to normal yet? Could still be some left over. Sorry not sure if you had a ERPC or natural (lack of memory today)

i am pretty sure that after all my mc's i got ov spotting the nurse at EPU told me it was because of mc. I was also told to expect my first AF to be horrendous, mine are anyway so no different i hope.

Hi Julez - you're so sweet to even think about remembering whether or not I had a ERPC or natural!

I had a natural miscarriage at 11 weeks, although the embryo only measured 7.

It seems to have slowed down to almost nothing today, so I'm hoping it's OV spotting, but no temp shift yet and no other signs of O...

How are you doing?

Hey

Im doing ok, resting, dont feel i need to though, Im gonna try and persuade DP to take me to the new asda tonight for our shopping.

Did you get a neg preg test yet? Or blood test to show your HCG level had gone down.

Its awful how long it drags out for mc

No one's ever taken my bloods to check my hormone levels - hmm I've always thought that was a bit weird. And I didn't think to take a pregnancy test. I had a natural miscarriage and had a scan to confirm the sack was expelled, there was a minimal amount of tissue left, so I was advised to let it pass naturally. Bleeding stopped entirely a week ago yesterday. This bleeding is very different - just spotting really and it seems to be nearly entirely gone now.

I found it really hard to 'rest' because when I did my mind would be racing...sad Shopping is great for tkaing your mind off of things! wink

No one took your bloods? Maybe you should give them a ring. Or even take a test yourself just to make sure. If there is anything left in there you could be at risk of infection. Dont want to scare you though Probs is just ov spotting, Ive had it a few times after my mc's

I got a few new bits of clothe sin asda, was good to get out xx

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
