I like your choice of Charlie best.

Don't like Dominic or Ashton - Alex is ok but just a bit ordinary

Dominic is good

I couldn't use Alex or Charlie (would have to be Alexander and Charles)

Ashton and Brodie are both too surnamey for me.

Benedict?

Nathan/Nathaniel - shortens to Nate, which I like.

Know what you mean though mustsleep, we're really struggling with names as well

mustsleep, we are in the same position, as DH has vetoed all the boys names I like and is firmly suggesting Jocelyn (wtf?). Girls no prob - no idea which it is as still early days. I can see us still arguing about it at about 8 1/2 months!

Name I like but DH doesn't, the picky sod:

Gabriel
Gilbert
Victor
Wesley (shortened to Wes)
Alexander
Edgar
Edward
John
David
Maximilian

If your DH likes Dominic, what about Brendan (to go with the Behan theme grin?

Patrick I love and think would work well with our surname (DH, as you may have guessed, doesn't)

Hiya mustsleep

We're a bit stuck for boys too.

We both like George. I like Oscar. Also Theo(dore), Ruben, Ethan, Jacob, Isaac but while we love our girls name we are not totally in love with these.

DH's last suggestions was..... Bruce! Yes he was serious. Don't want to upset any Bruce's out there but I found this very amusing (Forsythe?!). He was thinking Willis. So we will also have Diehard as a middle name. wink

He also suggested Orson... (Awesome?!).hmm.

I have an Alexander, think you need to use the full name with it really, (not against shortened names, I have a Bobby that isn't robert)

Love Rufus.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]
For a sceptical face, , type [hmm]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
