Thrilled to announce the arrival of our 2nd grandaughter Emily Sarah 13th November. The joy of being blessed as Grandparents and being part of this tiny persons world is amazing. Now a case of cuddling and caring for two tinies and big sister Rebecca 22 months is lovingly gentle (so far) with this " living dolly" . Anyone had recent additions and stories of siblings.

I am also a granny to two and totally agree that it is 100% wonderful. Both my daughters had their first babies this year. We had a BIG boy in February and a dainty girl in September, so my DGCs are cousins rather than siblings. It is a total joy to see them cuddled up or playing in the bath together.

I think DD2 was a bit concerned that we would not be as delighted with her new arrival as we were with her big sister's baby but as you know Grandbiyer, the love you have for them is not finite - it just grows and grows to encompass all your DCs and DGCs.

Think I am losing the plot on the phone to my daugther today and my grandson who is 20months said down the phone "Hello Nanna " for the first time , I was in tears, I must get a grip but it was a lovely moment !!

Lucky you. My grandson took forever to say granny. He knew who I was, loved being with me but flatly refused to say the word. However I was delighted when he eventually did.

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
