does anyone know what average/expected size the placenta is at each stage of pregnancy - ie 3 months, 6 months and 9 months? Just curious and can't seem to find anything by googling.
Thanks

the size should be around the same as weeks so 34 weeks should be 34 inches give or take 2-4 inches is ok

i am quite sure im right as remember midwife concerned as i had growth spurt i was 4 inches bigger and needed monitoring but it all evened itself out so all was ok and she said should be same as how many weeks you are give or take few

bubbla, I think thats the size of your bump, not the placenta! The placenta doesn't get anywhere near that big!

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
