Dd was posterior and this one is too I am 38 weeks now and really starting to worry about it as dd didn't turn in labour and it took 2 hours to push her out. It's also really uncomfortable to have all the limbs at the front of my bump, as it feels really stretched ad pulled about when he moves around. I have spent the last week on all fours as much as possible, but nothing seems to be working. I have an anterior placenta, just as I did with dd, so could this be why he is posterior in the first place? I am so desperate to avoid a similar experience to dds birth.

you are less likely to have another OP baby with second pg, but the anterior placenta does make it more likely
have you read about OFP? sitting with your hips above knees etc?
I think it is more likely to turn during labour this time as there may be more room
have you read about positions to try during labour if still OP? all fours as you mention, rocking and marching side to side, walking up and down stairs etc?

good luck - your labour is likely to be easier even if baby is still OP, anyway
I had a nasty forceps delivery with OP ds so you did well to deliver your dd, even though it took ages

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
