Not sure if there's a better place to be posting this question but just wondered if anyone has any experience or opinions on either of these travel systems? They are quite new I think and it is the 2008 Loola I am interested in. It has a continuous handle bar and the shopping basket is apparently easier to access.

I've got a W reg Polo so there are very few pushchairs which will fit in the boot.

I've looked on the 'review' section of mumsnet but neither are there (although the original loola is reviewed the 2008 one isn't).

Would really appreciate any feedback. thanks!

I have an old loola btw and love it. As far as I am aware, the new seat unit lies flatter than the old one. On the old loola the cross bar at the bottom is on top of the basket which does make it difficult to use, but on the new one, the crossbar is below the basket so there is nothing stopping full use iyswim. It does fold down small as it folds in widthways as well as lengthways. Our local mothercare will let you try pushchairs in your car boot. Hope that's some use! Maybe try posting on products if you don't get much luck here.

Don't have experience with either of those pushchairs but I just got the Pliko Switch and it is fab! Am using it for my 2yo at the moment but will be using it for new lo in July. Reclines flat, seat reverses, very comfortable (DD had 1.5 hr nap in it today), big shopping basket and folds up small (just like the regular M&P Pliko.) I got the Peg Perego version from amazon and the M&P version is on their website.

Needed something that could be used for either child as I have a mental block against buying a double stroller.

Thanks for the replies!

Glad to hear you liked your Loola bigcar. The reviews are quite mixed for it ranging from people absolutely loving it and hating it.

Will certainly look into the Pliko Switch Joys.

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
