Risotto? Cous cous? Omelettes? Pasta salads?

On the days we don't have left overs, DS likes fish fingers or fish cakes and veg too.

Can you help me? Large portions of my brain seem to have shut down in the heat, and I cannot for the life of me think of what to feed dd.

So far, she's done all of her main (i.e. not small bits of veg) eating in the winter, and I have a grand repertoire of stews and pies and so on. But it's too hot for that now, and I do not have a clue what to cook her. And the hotter it gets, the less our meals are ones that she can have the leftovers of.

She has one 'picnic' meal a day - bits of bread, cheese, veg and so on, but can't think what to give her that's more substantial. All suggestions very gratefully received, and then I can go shopping....

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
