Steak and salad.

I do our steak milanese style - crush up some garlic into beaten egg. Dip steak into egg mixture then into breadcrumbs and fry in a little oil.

grin MaryBS give me 3 weeks and that will def be on the menu. Fajitas are a great idea. I can't stand them too spicy at the mo, but made chicken ceasar wraps with what I was intending to make fajitas with and they were lovely.

I had to laugh, because in active conversations, it said underneath this thread "Goats cheese tart, salad and a BIG glass of wine". Unfortunately, not a good idea in your case... wink

Fajitas are always very quick and delicious. Buy a packet with most of it in, just don't use too much of the seasoning...

I am totally lacing inspiration for things to cook on hot days when I don't want anything heavy to eat, my usual cheap and quick failsafes of pasta, potatoes etc are just not cutting it.I'm also 37 weeks pregnant and don't have much of an appetite. I'd appreciate any ideas for yummy stuff to cook now and after the birth when frankly I know I won't want to spend a load of time in the kitchen. Will be cooking for 2 adults and a three year old.

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
