ds 23 months has developed hayfever. Tried giving him the equivalent to piriton but just makes him drowsy (not what i want for next few months) Any suggestions of anything i can give him that will work??

mine take New Era Jnr homeopathic remedy. It seems to work fine. Not sure if there is a lower age limit on it though.

no - it's little melt on/or under the tongue granules - really easy for kids to take.

My son was prescribed Zirtec(zyrtec?)in liquid form when he was little. You only have to give one dose a day, so if it does make them sleepy then give it before bed time and he can sleep it off.

just got some new era stuff but it has lactose in it and ds is allergic. Anybody else???

If i was giving it once a day surely it only lasts 12 hours? Therefore giving it before bed isnt any use for daytime?

my ds has been on zirtek/cetirizine liquid since 18mos,I get it on prescription but you could ask the pharmacist.
