So, last night DH put Eddie Izzard on and we snuggled up on the sofa to watch. Unfortunately tiredness got the better of me and I dropped off. DH finally noticed, got up and went to get his laptop. So I dropped off again. The next time I woke, I found he had gone to bed without waking me up!

When I went to bed, he turned over very huffily. I asked him what was wrong, he didn't answer, so I went to sleep (couldn't be bothered with the whole childish attitude) He is being distinctly off this morning and I am ignoring it grin

Now, I'm sorry I was tired!! He works away from Monday to Friday most weeks (not his fault, but not exactly a piece of cake for me either) We also have a german exchange student staying this week and yesterday I was running him and my 14 yr old around to a party and rushing about to get them fed etc before taking them. I helped at DS3's nursery yesterday too as they were short of staff. I also have a 3 and 5 yr old to sort out AND I had the neighbours children for an hour after school yesterday. I have also been running around all week preparing for the german student. (I dunno why I am justifying myself for being tired grin)

Anyway, he is annoying, I am trying very, very hard not be annoyed by him (but it's difficult)

So he's annoyed simply because you fell asleep? Or is it because he didn't get his "10 minutes of marital jiggery"? (sorry, quote from another thread which made me laugh).

Either way, YANBU. He's being childish.

YANBU Go back to sleep and ignore him, I always fall asleep on dh or in the bath, or basically anywhere that I lay down. You do not have to justify why you are tired, if you are tired then you are. He is being totally unreasonable and you should make him do something nice for you.

grin peagreene, that it probably it! Which actually makes me quite angry Is it a duty I must perform?

He has now spoken to me, but only to ask if I am picking up DS and german from DS's friends or if he is. I've told him to go, could do with the break even if DS's 2 and 3 are here!!

I have just told him to stop being so grumpy just because I went to sleep last night, but he denies he is being grumpy, when he clearly is! Bah!

DH often decides he's not talking to me for various reasons. I completely ignore him until he snaps out of it then tell him was a tosser he's been.

He's just got grumpy because I don't have the postcode for DS1's friends house, despite me telling him exactly how to get there. It is so easy and it's a huge manor house, so can't exactly be missed! Oh I may just have to disappear for the day and leave him to it!

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
