not another flipping HSM. dds class is divided into those that love HSM and the few that don't. Those that do play endless HSM games, choose each other for teams first etc (as they would as its their friends!). dd thinks its boring and is my little rebel. she likes pokemon, star wars and Dr who.

can you see it when they do a kids club showing at the Odeon? It's £2.50 for children and the adult goes free
I've started taking the dc's to these even if it does mean that they see the film a little while after it has come out

Oh Great.
That means I'll get lumbered into taking blokeys DD. He'll find a way of making me agree to it. Just you watch!

But it's a film. They show films at the cinema first, (unless they're really shite, in which case they go straight to Blockbusters/get shown on Sky at 3am.)

You could always wait for a year until it gets shown on TV wink.

Or wait 4 months or so and get it on DVD...

I think YABU. If the production company knows it can make money from releasing a film in cinemas then that's what they do. They'd be daft not to.

Jaura et all, the previous HSM films have been straight to TV releases. yes it means we have to have sky to watch them, but seeing as dh was insisting on the full package anyway it didnt cost us any extra.

i know i am being unreasonable, but its the thought of paying out for cinema tickets and then snacks if they want them, and i inwardly groan.

odeon and cineworld do do cheaper films on a saturday, but i hate taking dd;s to the cinema after the last few attempts ending up being disartious.

We are planning a big outing - like a premiere. In costume. WIth popcorn in my handbag, plus a travel potty, and bottles of pop.

My handbag is the size of a skip

take your own snacks and pop. home made popcorn is cheap and yummy. go on orange wednesday to save money.

am guessing that non-sky users will be over the moon that it is going to be released in the cinema first.

sorry misdee, didn't realise the other two hadn't been proper fillums blush.

We have them on DVD, I think we came late to the party, as it were.

Ohhhh I hope it is the end of October, as dd1's birthday is in November so that would be her birthday trip with friends sorted.

Oooh how exciting. I know the cinema isn't cheap, but what a treat for my girlies. We will be dressing up (well, not me) and going too. Thank goodness for the fashion in oversized handbags for cimena trips!
