Def change your email address. God, how annoying that someone did that. I am such a pain that his behaviour would result in me NOT giving him the goods! (I do the same with the emails that don't say 'please' when I freecycle something, yes I know it is probably really pathetic of me, but I think 'if you want it at least be civil to me'!)

I would change your email address to something unidentifiable if I were you. How rude and a little scary!

Phone book - email address uses real name. First part of postcode gives location - not difficult.

Didn't know I could report him - think I'll do just that

I make an offer on freecycle!

I made an offer of a universal card reader on freecycle and said as it was brand new (long story) I would prefer it to go to a charity or school

I got loads of replies mainly not from charities so kept waiting until I got a response that seemed right. Last night while I was doing DD's bedtime the phone went 3 times and I ignored it and left it to the answer machine. I checked and discovered a man had got my phone number and called to ask for the item (and left 3 messages). he called again - I answered and said that I was still deciding - an hour later he called again to ask if I'd decided. I told him to leave me alone and never to call me again and that I'd now decided he wasn't having it

grrrrrrr

It went to a hospital radio station in the end who needed it for something or other technical

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]
For a sceptical face, , type [hmm]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
